Fund for Zarnesti starts |

On October 1st, 2002, the Community Development and Conservation Fund for Zarnesti hat it first official meeting. The Fund is an annex to the CLCP and designed to fund conservation activities and infrastructure building for the eco-tourism programme. The Fund is able to provide 1 billion Lei (equals. app. 30,000 €uro) for these measures until the end of 2002. Each 250 million Lei are being allocated to Piatra Craiului National Park and to the town hall of Zarnesti, for the rest of the money individuals and NGO's are being invited for proposals.
