Predation study on a small wolf pack
Between December and February we conducted two intensive monitoring sessions on the pack of Turnu and Leasa to find all the prey they make. In the period of four weeks the pack of three preyed on a minimum of one red deer, one wild boar, and several dogs. In December, when the pack consisted of only two members, we could not find any ungulate prey at all. Instead, dogs and bait-sites seemed to be the main food source.
