Representatives of Nando Peretti Foundation visited CLCP
Dr. Marino Zigrossi and Prof. Alberto Bagnai, two representatives of the Nando Peretti Foundation, visited together with their secretary Mrs. Mirela Ivan the CLCP and the area of Piatra Craiului throughout the last days. Scope of the visit was to assess the outcome of the Feasibility Study for investments into eco-tourism development such as a Horse Riding Centre and the Large Carnivore Centre, which was elaborated in January 2001 by GY Associates, London. The representatives of NPF met with Mr. Voiculet, chief of the Forest Service Zarnesti, Mr. Holosi, mayor of Zarnesti, several Zarnesti councillors, representatives of the Zarnesti Eco-Tourism Association, and Director Popa and his staff from the Environmental Protection Agency in Brasov. Furthermore, we took Dr. Zigrossi and Prof. Bagnai on two extended field excursions to explore the area. They will now report their findings back to the board of directors of the NPF, which will decide about our next proposal for funding the Horse Riding Centre.
