In Racadau, a quarter of Brasov, in summer over 30 bears feed on the garbage in the containers standing on the road, right at the edge of the forest. People in that area are not too aware of the danger these bears can represent. We just finished producing leaflets that inform about the ecology of bears in general, about the habituated bears that feed on the garbage, the reasons why they represent a problem and how the problem can be solved.
